The Teaching and Learning Center is offering a series of workshops on how to create digital projects in less than an hour. Entry barriers to using digital tools such as mapping/GIS, digital archives, and data visualization can feel daunting to users without experience. This series offers hand-on workshops in which you will be introduced to the most streamlined and straightforward approaches for developing digital projects.
October 12, 1-2pm

Open Access Digital Publishing in < 1 Hour! |
With Manifold, you can publish dynamic digital texts with rich media support, powerful annotation tools, and robust community dialogue. During the workshop, we will create and customize a project on Manifold; add texts and multimedia resources to that project; create a reading group; learn how to use Manifold’s built-in annotation feature. |

Digital archives can work as public-facing companions to your research projects or as remarkable pedagogical tools in the classroom. This hands-on workshop will show you the easiest way to create a digital archive in less than an hour. No web development experience is necessary.

No longer do you have to be a GIS specialist to create interactive web maps. This hands-on workshop will show you the easiest ways to create an interactive map in less than an hour. No mapping experience is necessary.
